Thank you for your interest! I am a 4th year student preparing for exit exams and offering sessions for those interested in being a practice body and learning about manual osteopathy. If you are seeking care from a qualified osteopath, please do not continue and instead contact a local clinic. See ostcan.ca to find high quality local OMPs. Availability Student practice bodies: May and June 2026 Client care (pending graduation): July 2026 For all Returning Volunteer Bodies and New please review the following before booking an "Initial Appointment" and complete the necessary Intake and Agreement Forms. Warmly, Sarah Horton, M.OMSc Candidate (July 2026)
What to Expect:
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing
Review of your health and activity history during your initial, with quick health check in before each follow up
Hands-on, close-proximity work with active participation (guided movement, breathing, and manual techniques). All techniques work with soft tissue, there are no bony/articular high velocity adjustments.
Assessment of mobility and overall body mechanics to identify restrictions and compensations. I take a whole-body approach, helping everything work together to create lasting balance and relief.
Initial sessions are more general, becoming more targeted over time
Brief additional technique practice at the end of sessions (optional)
Who can book:
Volunteers must be 16 or older and in general good health. Feel free to book if you have musculoskeletal concerns, unless you are currently under care from a manual therapist. Active cancer diagnosis or treatment
Recent Surgery
Unstable Cardiovascular or Neurological concerns
Pregnancy
Recent head injuries / Intracranial disorders
